Kelly Panebianco is a freelance photographer for Burlington Coat Factory and Rover.com. She is a graduate of the Photography Program at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and earned a B.F.A. in Photography with a concentration in Art Therapy in 2017. She won the Fujifilm New Approach Award in 2016, as well as the Nikon Ben Rose award in 2017. Her most recent work is studio based and focused around reinventing the traditional still life. She is currently living and working in Philadelphia.

All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.
